RESOLUTION NO. 377
THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
IN AND FOR THE CITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RELATING TO PROVIDING
MARKETING SERVICES FOR THE ENERGY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the HRA's energy program has serviced over 1,600
Richfield homes with a Home Energy Checkup and there remains
approximately 8,400 homes that have not responded to program
offerings; and
WHEREAS, the HRA has received a grant from the Minnesota
Department of Public Service, Energy Division, to develop and
implement a marketing project in 1990 to reach unserved homes;
and
WHEREAS, proposals were received from three marketing firms
and evaluated by staff; and
WHEREAS, the proposal from the BEST Group has been
identified as best meeting program needs and achieving grant
requirements at a cost approximating $12,500; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to begin the marketing project soon
to be able to meet a fall, 1990 implementation objective.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield as
follows:
The Executive Director and Chairperson are authorized to
take those actions necessary to enter into an agreement with the
BEST Group to provide marketing services for the energy program.
Adopted by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and
for the City of Richfield, this 16 day of April, 1990.
