HRA RESOLUTION N0. 323
AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF
7101 First Avenue South
MHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) in
and for the City of Richfield acquires property, relocates
occupants, and builds and rehabilitates structures for
residential purposes; and
MHEREAS, the HRA desires to acquire the real property at
7101 First Avenue South, legally described as: Lot 24, Block 1,
Sheldon Blair's Wooddale Fourth Addition, Hennepin County; and
MHEREAS, the owner of 7101 First Avenue South, A. Guy
Shelley Jr. and Katherine Anne Shelley, has volunteered to sell
their property .for $39,750; and
MHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found the acquisition
of this parcel for residential purposes to be consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan; and
MHEREAS, the lot width of 7101 First Avenue South is not a
standard size and requires a variance to city requirements to
allow this acquisition and development to proceed; and
MIHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (COBG) funds will
finance the acquisition of this parcel.
NOM, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED by the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
