1986-288A49 HRA RESOLUTION NO. 288A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6425 AND 6429 PORTLAND AVENUE F~HEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield, (HRA) o~ons certain real property located at 6425 and 6429 Portland Avenue for possible housing development; and WHEREAS, the Richfield City Council has determined that this property should be used for parlc development; and WHEREAS, the Richfield City Council has indicated a willingness to purchase these properties from the HRA; and WHEREAS, a total purchase price including acquisition appraisals and relocation costs has been negotiated in the amount of $81,881 for 6425 Portland Avenue and $92,781 for 6429 Portland Avenue; and WHEREAS, funding for the purchase of said properties caill not be a~•ailable until after January 1, 1987 from proceeds of the 1987 Capital Improvement Program. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the Citv of Richfield, Minnesota: 1. that the property located at 6425 and 6429 Portland Ave. be sold to the City of Richfield. 2. that the HRA receive proceeds of the sale for said properties after January 1, 1987, and 3. that the Acting Executive Director and staff are authorized to take such steps necessary to effectuate this resolution.
