RESOLUTION APPROVING ATTENDANCE OF JOAN HELMBERGER
AT CERTAIN NAHRO CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS
AND PROVIDING FUNDING FOR SAME
WHEREAS, Housing and Redevelopment Authority Commissioner
Joan Helmberger, has been elected as State Vice President of the
NAHRO for commissioners; and
WHEREAS, as an officer of this organization it is important
and necessary that Joan Helmberger attend certain state and
national workshops and conferences; and
WHEREAS, these meetings are as follows:
1. State and Regional Conference, St. Paul, MN.
May, 1984
2. National Commission Workshop,~Denver, Colorado
July, 1984
3. National Conference, St. Louis, Missouri
Fall, 1984
4. Minnesota Winter Conference
January, 1985
5• Legislative Conference, Washington, D.C.
February, 1985
6. Minnesota Annual Conference
May, 1985
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and --- -~
Redevelopment Authority of the City of Richfield that attendance
by Joan Helmberger, in her capacity as State Vice President of
NAHRO, at certain state and national meetings of NAHRO be
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the necessary funding for
attending these conferences and meetings be provided for in the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority budget document.
