• RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE
OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF
RICHFIELD LOCATED IN THE LYNDALE/HUB/NICOLLET
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Richfield,
Minnesota (HRA) proposes to purchase certain real property pursuant
to and in furtherance of the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Redevelopment Pro-
ject, heretofore, adopted by the City of Richfield (City} and the
HRA. Said real property being described as:
That part of Tract C, Registered Land Survey No. 1131,.
files of the Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, Minne-
sota, lying northwesterly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the southwesterly line of
said Tract C, distance 40.25 feet southeasterly from
the most westerly corner of said Tract C; thence
northeasterly 146.58 feet parallel with the north-
westerly line of said Tract C; thence northeasterly
103.08 feet, parallel with the southeasterly line
of said Tract C to the northeasterly line of said
Tract C to the northeasterly line of said Tract C,
and there terminating; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused
appraisals of subject property to be made and considered such
appraisals; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized
by Minnesota statute, Section 462.445 to purchase real property; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed
the Executive Director and its attorney to commence negotiations for
the purchase of real property described above; and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in
the above agreement have resulted in agreement concerning the terms
of purchase;
- -- NOW-,-THEREFORE, BE- _I_T_RESOLDED by theHousing and Redevelopment
Authority of Richfield, 1innesota that the Executive Director is
• authorized to purchase the above-described real property for $40,5~~~.90.
