RESOLUTION AUT HORIZING SALE
OF PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED AT
6515 GRAND AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Richfield (HRA) has
purchased certain real property pursuant to and in furtherance of the Lyndale/
Hub/Nicollet Redevelopment Project, heretofore adopted by the City of. Richfield
(the "City") and the HRA, said real property being described as Lot 3, Block 3,
J. N. Hauser's Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, 6515 Grand Avenue
South; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is desirous of removing
the existing improvements, specifically the house and garage, furtherance of
the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has requested informal
appraisals of said improvements and has carefully considered such appraisals;
and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has received an offer
to purchase said improvements for $5,000 from Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rosen; and
WHEREAS, this offer has resulted in the execution of a purchase agreement
by the purchaser(s).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
of Richfield that the Executive Director is authorized to execute the purchase
agreement and to sell the house and garage at the above described location
for $5,000.00.
Passed by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Richfield,
this 12th day of June, 1978.
