~~ ~ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIi1G PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY AT 6513-6521 LYNDALE AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Richfield,
.Minnesota (HRA) proposes to purchase certain real property and immovable
fixtures pursuant to and in furtherance of the Lyndale/Hub/~licollet
Redevelopment Project, heretofore adopted by the City of Richfield
(the "City") and the HRA, said real property being described as The
South 78.45 feet of the North 278.45 feet of Lot 9, Bloc: 4, J. N.
Hauser's Second Addition, Hennepin County, Ainnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused
appraisals of subject property to be made and has carefully considered
such appraisals; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized
by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.44,5 to purchase real propert?~ and
immovable fixtures; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed
the Executive Director and the HRA's Attorney to commence negotiations
for the purchase of the real property described above; and
6VHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in the
above agreement have resulted in the execution of a purchase agreer.:ent

rao~a, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of Richfield that the Executive Director is authorized to
execute the purchase agreement and~to purchase the above-described
property for $165,384 plus the first one-half of the real estate taxes
payab~.e in 1978. and to purchase the immovable fixtures on the propert~~
for $70,278. .
