HRA RESOLUTION N0. 84
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY AT 7444 BRYANT AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA)
proposes to purchase certain real property pursuant to and in furtherance
of the Home Rehabilitation Program, heretofore adopted by the HRA, said
real property being described as Lot 12, Block 12, Irwin Shores Addition,
Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused appraisals
of subject property to be made and has carefully considered such appraisals;
and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized by
the Minnesota Statutes 462.445 to purchase real property; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed the
Executive Director and the HRA's Attorney to commence negotiations for
the purchase of the real property described above; and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in the
above agreement have resulted in the execution of a purchase agreement
by the owner(s).
NDW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment
Authority that the Executive Director is authorized to execute the purchase
agreement and to purchase the above-described property for $16,500.
Passed by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of
Richfield this- 27th day of February, 1978.
