1977-7582 •, HRA RESOLUTION N0. 75 • (• ~ RESOLUTION :AUTHORIZING -PURCHASE OF MEAL PROPERTY AND IMMOVABLE FIXTURES 600 WEST 66TH STREET WHEREAS, the Housing and RedevelopmentyAuthority of .Richfield (HRA) proposes to purchase certain real property and immovable - fixtures as identified by the fixture. appraiser, pursuant to-and in furtherance of the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Redevelopment Project, .heretofore adopted by the. City of Richfield (the"City") and the • ~ - HRA, said real. property being. described as that part of Lot 9, . i :Block 4, J. N. Hauser`s Second Addition, commencing at-the Southeast corner of Lot 9; thence North along the East line 140 feet; thence West parallel with the South line 40 feet; thence. South and parallel with the East line 140 feet plus or minus to beginning, Hennepin County Minnesota; and . WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused appraisals of subject property to be made and has carefully considered such appraisals; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized :_ by Minnesota Statutes,~Section 462.445 to purchase real property and immovable fixtures; and ' WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed the Executive Director and the HRA's Attorney to commence negotia- tions for the purchase of the real property described above and for immovable fixtures; and . WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property and immovable '~ fixtures described in the above agreement have resulted in the . execution of a purchase agreement .by .the owners; NOWT THEREFQRE, BE TT RESOLVED, by~the Housing and, Redevelopment Authority +hat the Executive Director is .authorized to execute the purchase agreement and to purchase the above-described property for $127', 872.
