RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY AT .6521 GRAND AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the. Housing and Redevelopment Authority of .Richfield (HRA)
proposes to purchase certain real. property pursuant to and in furtherance
of the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Redevelopment Project, heretofore adopted
by the City of Richfield (the "City") and the HRA, said real property
being described as Lot 4 and the Westerly 10 feet of Lots 5, 6, 7, and S,
all in Block 3, J. N. Hawser's.-Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused
appraisals of the subject property to be made and has careful3.y considered
such appraisals; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized.-
by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.445 to purchase-real property; and
WYIEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed
the Executive~Director and the HRA's Attorney to commence negotiations
for the purchase of. the real property described above; and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in
he above agreement. have resulted in~the execution of a purchase agreement
by the owner(s);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of Richfield that the Executive Director is authorized to
execute the purchase agreement and to purchase the above-described
property for $31,275.
