HRA RESOLUTION NO. 70
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY AND IMMOVABLE
.FIXTURES AT 6509 LYNDALE~AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA)
proposes to purchase certain real property and immovable fixtures
as identified by the fixture appraiser, pursuant to and in furtherance
of the Lyndale/Hub/Nicoilet Redevelopment Project, heretofore adopted
by the City of Richfield (the "City") and the HRA, said real property.
being described as The South 100 feet of the North 200 feet of Lot 9,
Block 4, J. N. Hauser'~s Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota,
6509 Lyndale Avenue South; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused
appraisals of subject property to be made and has carefully considered
such appraisals; and - ~~
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized
~y Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.445 to purchase real property :and
immovable fixtures; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed
the Executive Director and the HRA's Attorney to conunence negotiations
for the purchase of the real property described above and for
immovable fixtures; and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for the "real property and immovable
fixtures described in the above agreement have resulted in tine execution
of a purchase agreement by the owner(s); `' ~ _
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authori~
of Richfield that the Executive Director is authorized to execute the
purchase agreement and to purchase the above-described property for
$102,524.
