1977-5865 ~iRA RESOLUTION NO. 58 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF '-REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 612 WEST 66TH STREET WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Richfield (HRA) proposes to purchase certain real property pursuant to and in furtherance of the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Redevelopment Project, heretofore adopted by the City of Richfield (the "City°) and the HRA, said real property being described as the East 35 feet of the West 60 feet of the South 140 feet of Lot 9, Block 4, J. N. Hawser's Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; 612 West 66th. Street; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused appraisals of subject property to be made and has carefully considered such appraisals; and 'WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.445 to purchase real property; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed the Executive Director and the FiRA's Attorney to commence negotiations for the purchase of the real property described above; and WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in the above agreement have resulted in the execution of a purchase agreement by the owner(s); NOW, THEREFORE, BE~IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority that the Executive Director~is authorised to execute the' purchase agreement and to purchase the above-described property for $48,121.
