RESOLUTION AU'~HORIZING PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY AT 7238 WENTWORTH
AVENUE SOUTH

WHEREAS, the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment Authority
(HRA}•proposes to purchase certai-n real property pursuant to~~and
in furtherance.•of the New Homgi Program, heretofore adopted by
the HRA, said real property being described as .Lot 7, 81ock. 3,
Nicol let Terrace Addition, Hennepin County,.Minnesota; and
1~1HEREAS, the Housing & Redevelopment Authority has caused
appraisals of su•bjgict property to be made and has carefully con-
sidea~ed such appraisals; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment .Authority is authorized
by (~innesota Statutes 462,445 to purchase real property; and
1dHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed
the Executive Director and the HRA's Attorney to commence negotiat-
ions-for the .purchase of the real property described above; and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in'
the above agreement have resulted in the execution of a purchase
agreement by the.o~rner(s);
NflW, THEREFORE, I3E IT RESOLVED, by the Richfield Housing and
Redevelopment Authority that the Executive Director is authorized
to execute the purchase agreement and to purchase the above-described
' property for $2b,000.00. -
