RESOLUTION AU'I I iOitI ZIiJG PURCIiASE OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 715- GRAHAM AVEI~IUE SOUTH
i1~EiEi2EAS, the Richfield housing and Redevelapment Authority (HRA) proposes
to purchase certain. real .property pursuant to and in furtherance of the
Lyndale/iIub/Nicoll.et Redevelopment Project, heretofore adopted by the
City oi'• Richfield- (the "City") and• the HRA, sai~I. real property described as
follows: 'Lot 4, Bldck 3, Fairwood Shares Addition; Hennepin County., Minnesota;
and .
t~REAS, the~Housing and Redevelopment~Authority has caused appraisals of
the subject property to be macle~and has carefully considered such appraisals;
and '-
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized by
Minnesota Statutes, SecL•ion 462.445 to purchase real property;~and
i~'1?Hk,REAS, the housing and iedevelopment Authority has instructed. the
Pxecutive Director and-the IIRA's attorney to commence negotiations fax the
purchase of the real property described above; and
1'JfiEREAS, t}le . negotiatians for the real property described i.n the above
agreement have resulted in the execution of a purchase agreement;
NOid, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment
Authority that the Executive Director is directed to execute the purchase
agreement and to purchase the above-described property for Twenty-five
Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($25,000).
