HRA RESOLUTION NO. 17
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT
6514 GRAND AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) proposes
to purchase certain real property pursuant to and in furtk~erance of the Lyndale/
Hub/Nicollet Redevelopment project, heretofore adopted by the City of Richfield
(the "City") and the HRA, said real property being described as follows: Lot 3,
Block 4, j. N. Hausers Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has caused appraisals
of subject property to be made and has carefully considered such appraisals, and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is authorized by Minnesota
Statutes, Section 462.445 to purchase real property, and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has instructed the Executive
Director and the HRA's Attorney to commence negotiations for the purchase of the
real property described above, and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for the real property described in the above agreement
have resulted in the execution of a purchase agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richfield Housing and Redevelopment
Authority that the Executive Director is directed to purchase the above-described
property for Thirty-Four Thousand and no/100 dollars ($34, 000.00) .
Passed by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Richfield
