RESOLUTION NO. 14
° RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING SUPPORT OF HOUSING
FROJECT PROPOSED BY KNUTSON MORTGAGE AND
FINANCE CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Richfield City Council previously approved rezoning at 77fih
Street and Chicago Avenue far a senior citizen's housing facility proposed by
Kn~ztson Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Richfield
has previously gone on record in support of this housing' project, and .
WHEREAS, there has been a demonstrated need for subsidized housing for
;~~` 'the elderly and handicapped in the City of Richfield, and
WHEREAS, Knutson Corporation has filed the necessary applications for
variances and apartment use permits required for this project, and
WHEREAS, these applications will be processed in the normal and routine
manner by the planning commission and the city council,
NOW, WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Richfield again reaffirms the support of the City of
Richfield for this housing project proposed by Knutson Corporation.
.. BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be transmitted to
the Knutson Corporation, the Minnesota Sta to Housing Finance Agency and the
.local office of the Federal Housing and Urban Development Department.
