RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING SUPPORT OF
HOUSING PROJECT PROPOSED BY HOUSE
OF PRAYER LUTHERAN CHURCH AND THE
KNUTSON COMPANY
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4914,-the Richfield City Council approved a

rezoning at 77th Street and Chicago Avenue for a senior citizen housing facility
on February 26, 1973, and
WHEREAS, a survey was conducted by the Richfield League of Women Voters
indicating an immediate need for subsidized housing for senior citizens and
handicapped individuals, and
WHEREAS, this need for subsidized housing continues to exist in the City
of Richfield .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Richfield reaffirms the Richfield City Council's support
of the senior citizens subsidized housing project proposed by the House of
Prayer Lutheran Church and the Knutson Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be transmitted to
House of Prayer Lutheran Church, the Knutson Company, the Minnesota State
Housing Finance Agency and other interested parties.
