HRA LETTER NO. 10;
Executive Director Prosser reviewed HRA Letter No. 10 regarding a resolution
authorizing condemnation and quick take resolution for the following six properties for the
Urban Village redevelopment protect:
307 66th Street 6627 Grand Avenue
6607 Grand Avenue 6640 Pleasant Avenue
6615 Grand Avenue 6630 Pleasant Avenue

HRA Attorney Thomson reviewed the process and timelines associated with the
acquisition of property through the condemnation and quick take procedure provided by
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 117.
Discussion followed regarding the timing of initiation of the condemnation and quick
take procedure and the fact that the relocation consultant had not completed some
preliminary work.
Jari Susee, RSA, indicated that RSA was coming to an agreement with two of the
remaining properties but was at an impasse with the others. He stated concern that the
condemnation process moves forward as soon as possible.
James Vargo, 6630 Pleasant Avenue, stated concerns that he had not been contacted
by RSA recently and could not get answers from Community Development Department for
his questions.

the HRA resolution book and that it be made, part of these minutes:

Motion carried 4-0. This resolution appears as HRA Resolution No. 703 in HRA
