HRA LETTER NO .. 11 City Manager Cartwright requested that the HRA consider Item 4~1 in conjunction with Item ~~4. Mr. Cartwright reviewed HRA letter ~~11 relating to a temporary rental agreement for property at 920 and 924 West 66th Street.. (See Ztem 1~4). M/Ludeman, S/Hassenstab to approve the temporary rental agreements. Motion .carried 5-0. Item l~2 A ON ID RA I N 0 A CO M DA IO 0 PURSUE THE ACQUISITION OF A SCATTERED HOUSING SITE. HRA LETTER N0. 12 Executive Director Cartwright reviewed HRA Letter ~~12 relating to a recgmmendation to pursue the acquisition of a scattered housing site from among five sites identified. M/Hassenstab, S/Luettinger to authorize staff to negotiate for the purchase of an additional housing site from the list included in HRA Letter ~~12. Motion carried 5-0. Item ~~3 HRA CONSIDERA_ION TO APPOINT A LIAISON TO THE ILN ADVISORY COMMITTEE A~1D CONCURRENCE ON THE SELECTION OF BRW AS THE ILN PLANNING CONSULTANT. HRA LETTER N0. 13 -- M/Hassenstab, S/Harms to appoint Verri Luettinger and Joan Helmberger as ,j~oirt liaisons to the IL.N Advisory Committee. . Motion carried ~-4. (Commisioner Ludeman was temporarily out o the dram ers. Stem l~~l HRA C NSIDERATION OF T AND DESIGN CONCEPTS FOR HOUSING CONSTRUCTION AT 6bTH STREET AND RAE DRIVE. HRA LETTER N0. 14 ' Community Development Director {raft reviewed HRA Letter No. 14 relating to consideration of site and design concepts for housing construction at both Steet and Rae Drive. James Howard, 915 Rae Drive, stated he was concerned about building sizes and designs changing during the process and that the neighbors have input ail through the process. Anr. Burkhardt, 921 Rae Drive, expressed concerned about building density of more than 8 units. Edwin Burkhardt, 921 Rae Drive, stated his concern about water run-off from higher ground elevations onto his property. Bob Sjoquist, 1001 Rae Drive, spoke regarding his opposition to the height of buildings that might cause sign interference with the existing houses in-the block. There was consensus for 8 units and approving 7 stafF recommendations listed in the HRA letter.
