RESOLUTION NO. 12354

RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON
INTERSTATE-LYNDALE-NICOLLET (ILN) PROJECT AREA MAINTENANCE
FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2024 TO DECEMBER 31, 2024
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the council has
met and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for current services related
to maintenance of the ILN Project Area, which is approximately bound by I-35W, 77th Street,
I-494 and Cedar Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1.Such proposed assessment roll in the total amount of $130,596.78 is hereby accepted
and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each
tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed current
services in the amount of assessment levied against it.
2.Such assessment shall be payable before or during 2026 and shall bear interest at the
rate of five percent (5%) from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution.
3.The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the
assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property
before November 15, 2025 with no interest accrued.
4.The City Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment roll to the
County Auditor to be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such
assessment shall be collected and paid over in the same manner in other municipal taxes.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 14th day of October, 2025.
