BUDGET HEARING, OCTOBER 2, 1984

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Harms at 7:05 p.m.
Executive Director Cartwright presented the proposed HRA 1985 budget and.
the revised 1984 budget. He reviewed the fund summaries and went on to high-
light accomplishments of the HRA for 1984 and targeted development for 1985.
ADMINISTRATION
The Executive Director presented the Administration Division budget. City
staff was directed to examine the possibility and cost advantages, if any, to
have some legal services covered by a retainer.
NEW HOME PROGRAM/RELOCATION IlVFORMATION
Executive Director Cartwright summarized the acquisitions for 1984 provided
by these funds. '
HOUSING REHAB PROGRAM/HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Executive Director Cartwright presented the activities of these two funds
for 1984 and the activities of the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program which
is administered under the Housing Assistance Fund.
SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE
The Small Business Assistance Fund and the L/H/N Tax Increment Fund were
summarized by Director Cartwright.
L/H/N TAX INCREMENT
The L/H/N Tax Increment budget was presented by the'Executive Director.
HRA Commissioners requested staff to prepare a Revenue and Expenditure summary
separate for each project, such date to be included in next year's budget.

The Executive Director presented the Capital Improvement Fund and the L/H/N
Redevelopment Fund.

Chairman Harms left the meeting at 8:00 p.m.

on the status of current projects.
