07-09-1979HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA Regular Meeting of July 9, 1979 The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Richfield met in regular session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on July 9, 1979, at 9:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Loren L. Law. Present: Collins, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Law ° 1 Absent: Ludeman f 1. Minutes - ,, Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Luettinger that the minutes of the June 25, 1979, HRA meeting be-approved as presented. All ayes - Carried. Absent - Ludeman. 2. Authorization.to Resell House at 7444 Bryant Avenue Karl Nollenberger, Executive Director, advised that the house that has been rehabilitated by the Suburban Hennepin County Vocational Technical Institute, in cooperation with the HRA is completed and he recommended-the HRA adopt the appropriate resolution authorizing the staff to advertise the property for sale. He stated that the home shall be sold to a moderate-income large family who qualifies for FHA Section 235 mortgage financing. Motion by Collins, seconded by Jacobsen that the following resolution be adopted; that it be spread in the resolution book and that it be made a part of these minutes: HRA RESOLUTION N0. 124 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RESALE OF PROPERTY AT 7444 BRYANT AVENUE SOUTH n Po11 of votes: Ayes - Collins, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Law. Nays - None. Absent - Ludeman. Carried. This resolution appears as Resolution No. 124 in Resolution Book No. 2. HRA Meeting Minutes -2- -July 9, 1979 3. Authorization to Advertise for Demolition Bids Karl Nollenberger, Executive Director, recommended the commission authorize the advertising for bids for demolition of five substandard homes. The HRA presently has acquired one such property at 7104 - 2nd Avenue, and will be acquiring four more this month. The HRA has received a Bonus Community Develop- went Block Grant 'in the amount of $162,500 for this purpose. , Motion by Jacobsen, seconded. by Collins to authorize the Executive Director to advertise for bids for demolishing these substandard properties. All ayes - Carried. Absent - Ludeman. 4. Claims and Payrolls Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen that the following claims and payrolls be approved: SUMMIT STATE BANK Checks 2691/2710 $10,097.03 A11 ayes - Carried.
