Regular Meeting of June 25, 1979
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Richfield met in regular
session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on June 26, 1979, at 12:08 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Loren L. Law.
Present: Collins, Jacobsen, Ludeman, Luettinger, Law
1. Minutes
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Ludeman that the minutes of the June 11, 1979,
HRA meeting be approved as presented.
A11 ayes - Carried.
2 Authorization to Execute Contract Agreement with U. S. Department of HUD
Richard Krier, Planning and Redevelopment Director, reported notification has
been received from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that the
HRA's application for bonus community development funds, in the amount of $162,500,
has been approved"., He stated that, before these funds can be released to the HRA,
a notice of no significant environmental findings for the sites to be purchased
with the funds must be published in the official newspaper. He said that such
notice was published in the Richfield Sun on June I3, 1979, and that the required
fifteen-day response period will expire on June 28. He recommended that the HRA
execute a contract agreement with the U. S. Department of HUD so that a request
for release of these grant monies can be activated.
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Ludeman to authorize the Acting Executive ,
Director to execute an agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
All ayes - Carried.
3. Authorization to Receive Proposals for Land Marketing
Richard Krier, Planning and Redevelopment Director, requested HRA approval
to initiate land marketing efforts for the sites in the L/H/N redevelopment area

just north and just south of 66th Street, west of Lyndale Avenue.
Motion by Ludeman, seconded by Jacobsen to authorize the Acting Executive
Director to request proposals for land marketing services related to marketing
of the multi-family/commercial redevelopment-site west of Lyndale Avenue, between
65th and 66th Streets and the site south of 66th Street, west of Lyndale Avenue.
All ayes - Carried.
4. Claims and Payrolls
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Ludeman that the following claims and payrolls
be approved;

5. Adjournment
Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Collins that the meeting adjourn.
