January 4, 2006
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 5:45 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Martin Kirsch, Mayor; Sue Sandahl; Susan Rosenberg (arrived at 7:25
p.m.); Fred Wroge; and Bill Kilian.
The City Council conducted interviews of the following applicants for appointment to City
Advisory Boards and Commissions:
Amanda Danzeisen
Gloma Hamernick
Randy Matheus
Heidi Palms
Gordon Vizecky
Courtney Danzeisen
Gordon Hanson
Eric Mayo
Janet Schluter
Fred Walk
Donna Drummond
P. Dean Johnson
Phil Mortenson
Marc Sullivan
Jeffrey Walz
Bob Elliott
Regina Robinson
Mark Olson
Karen Tannahill
The City Council agreed that, based upon the City Attorney's recommendation, Fire and
Police will be treated the same on the Civil Service Commission in regards to the Minnesota Statute
and requested that staff contact the Fire Fighter applicant to notify him that he is not eligible to serve
on the Civil Service Commission due to his occupation. The applicant may, if he wishes, apply for a
different commission.
