07-25-1977• HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITX OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA Regular Meeting of July 25, 1977 ,The Housing and Redevelopment Authoritq of the City of Richfield met in regular session in the Council Chambers of the City Ha11 on July 25, 1977 at 10:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Law. Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Ludeman, Luettinger, Law 1. Minutes Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Ludeman that the minutes of the July I1, 1977 meeting be approved as presented. All ayes - Carried. 2. Authorization for Resale of Home at 7238 Wentworth Avenue The executive director advised that the house the HRA had purchased on December 6, 1976 in an agreement with the Suburban Hennepin County Vocational Technical Center had been completed. He recommended that the HRA authorize advertisement for sale of this HRA property, authorize reimbursement to the Vo-Tech in the amount of $16,000 for their costs in rehabilitating the house and approve the resale method; (1) offer to L/H/N area property owners first; (2) if those property owners are not interested, advertise for sale to a low income qualified buyer. Motion by Ludeman, seconded by Anderson that th.e following resolution be adopted; that it be spread in the resolution book and that it be made a part of these minutes; RESOLUTION N0. 38 RESOLUTION.AUTHORIZING RESALE OF PROPERTY AT 7238 WENTWORTH AVENUE SOUTH Poll of votes: Ayes - Anderson, Jacobsen, Ludeman, Luettinger, Law. Nayes - None. Carried. This resolution appears as Resolution No. 38 in Resolution Book No. 1. 3. ~ Fichfield Housin Assistance Program Suspension of Applications The executive director requested the HRA to approve a temporary suspension of the taking of new applications for the Richfield Housing Assistance Program until November, 1978 as the staff is limited and at the present time there are 208 families HRA Meeting Minutes -2- July 25, 1977 on a waiting list-for 22 unrented housing units. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Ludeman to approve the suspension of receiving applications for Richfield Housing Assistance Program until November. A11 ayes - Carried. 4. Authorization to Advertise for Bids for Homes The executive director reported that developers of two properties owned by the city had withdrawn their proposals. The locations of these lots are at 6429 15th Avenue and 6809 Queen Avenue. He requested the commission to accept both of these withdrawals and authorize readvertisement~of these lots, as well as a newly acquired lot at 6909 Russell Avenue. Tv(n~iptt by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen to accept these withdrawals and authorize advertisement for sale of the three following lots: 6429 15th Avenue. 6809 Queen Avenue 6909 Russell Avenue All ayes - Carried. 5. Claims and Payrolls Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Anderson that the following claims and payrolls be approved: SUMMIT STATE BANK Amount Checks 1273/1359 ~ $16,798.68 All ayes - Carried. 6.
