Regular Meeting June 9, 1975
The Housing and Redeue7:opment Authority of the City of Richfield met in
regular session in the Council Chambers of the Gity Ha11 on Monday, June 9, 1975
at 11:50 PM.
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Law.
Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Ludeman, Law
Absent: Luettinger (On Vacation.)
1. Minutes
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Ludeman, to approve the minutes of the May
27, 1975 meeting as presented.
A11 ayes - Carried.- Absent - Luettinger.
2. Section 8 Leased Housing Application
Richard Krier, planning director, presented a summary of the Metropolitan
Council`s. application and requested the local HRA to endorse the application.
Motion by Ludeman, seconded by Jacobsen, to support the Metropolitan Council's
HRA application for 504 Section 8 leased housing units which includes an allocation
for the Richfield HRA.
All ayes - Carried. Absent - Luettinger.
Thee planning director brought the commissioners up to date on the status
of the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Central Business Study and announced the following
meetings:
Neighborhood Residents Meeting June 12
Residential Impact Neighborhood Group June 16
Commercial Improvement Committee June 17
HRA and Planning Commission Joint Meeting June 30
HRA Meeting Minutes
