Regular Meeting December 239 1974
The HRA Authority of Richfield met in regular session in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall on Monday, December 239 1974 at 7.015 pom.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lawo
Present: Anderson9 Jacobsen9 Kenealey9 Luettinger, Law.
Absent: None.

Motion by Anderson9 seconded by Luettinger9 to approve the minutes of the
December 99 1974 meeting as printed.
All ayes Carried.
2. Report on Knutson/House of Prayer Housing Project.
Dick Krier9 city planning. director, reported on contacting representatives
of the House of Prayer Lutheran Church9 the Knutson Company and the Minnesota
Housing Finance Agency. His findings were that the project has not been dropped,
despite a number of pnoblems9 and it is still under consideration.
Motion by Kenealey9 seconded by Jacobsen9 that the following resolution be
adopted; that it be spread in the Resolution Book and that it be made apart of
these minutest

3. Joint Meeting of the Planning Commission of the HRA to Receive the Lvndale/Hub/
Nicollet Commercial Improvement Phase I Report.
Motion by Anderson9 seconded by Jacobsen9 that the HRA call a special meeting
on Jahuary 6, 1975 at 7100 p.m. with the planning commission to receive the Lyndale/
Hub/Nicollet Commercial Improvement Phase I report from the representatives of
H, R, A. -2- December 23, 1974

All ayes - Carried,
Motion by Kenealey, seconded by Law, that the staff be requested to furnish
a map of the city indicating the number of vacant lots and substandard housing
when the report on spot renewal is submitted at the second regu3.ar meeting. in
February,

Councilman Kenealey reported on an article from "Nations Cities" magazine that
told of a project in E1Cajon,California that has "dial-a-ride", a l.ow cost trans-
portation concept, which utilizes taxi cabs in conjunction with the city transit
system, the executive director was asked to explore this matter,

Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen, that the meeting be adjourned.
