STAFF PRESENT: James Prosser, City Manager; Thomas Ferber, City Clerk; Donald Fondrick, Community Services Director; Jack Erskine, Public Safety Director; Byron Wallace, Community Development Director; and William Fillmore, Liquor Operations Director. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 7:00 p.m. Item #I CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF S00 LINE RAILROAD COMPANY PROPERTY; 77TH STREET PROJECT. C.L. N0. 95 City Manager Prosser reviewed Council Letter No. 95 regarding the proposed purchase of Soo Line Railroad Company property for the 77th Street Project. Lawrence Wozniczka, 6744 Wentworth Avenue, asked about the funding and the purchase price for these parcels as compared to the purchase of the City owned property. City Manager Prosser reviewed the prorata funding of the project which consists of 80$ federal, 15$ state, and 5~ local funds. He stated the City's share comes from the Municipal State Aid (MSA) account. He stated appraisals are conducted from which compensation is negotiated for the parcels. M/Susag, S/Priebe that the following resolution be adopted; that it be spread in the resolution book and that it be made part of these minutes: RESOLUTION NO. 7997 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY 77TH STREET PROJECT Motion carried 4-0.
