RELIEF ASSOCIATION
TRUSTEES: Greg Knaeble, President; Paul Kaiser, Vice
President; Loren Olsen, Treasurer; Steve
Sutter, Secretary; and Steve Krinhop, Trustee.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 6:05 p.m.
Item #I PRESENTATION FROM RICHFIELD FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF
ASSOCIATION (RFDRA), RFDRA FUND CUSTODIAN AND RFDRA
PERFORMANCE APPRAISER REGARDING STATUS, DESCRIPTION AND
HISTORY OF THE FUND.
Steve Sutter, Secretary of the Richfield Fire Department
Relief Association (RFDRA), reviewed the history and background of
the Richfield Fire Department and the Relief Association.
Greg Knaeble, President of the Richfield Fire Department
Relief Association (RFDRA), reviewed a summary of the benefits,
actuarial condition, and 1992 Annual Report of the RFDRA.
Joe Ertman, Union Bank & Trust, reviewed their role as fund
custodian and investment advisor for the RFDRA.
Arlyn Anderson, Standard Valuations, reviewed their role as
performance monitor for the RFDRA.
City Manager Prosser stated that Administrative Services
Director Devich, Finance Manager Walstrom, and Public Safety
Director Erskine are ex-officio members of the RFDRA.
Discussion was conducted regarding the investment philosophy,
management, and performance of the RFDRA.
