SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 6:45 p.m.
Item #I CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF PETITION TO BOARD OF WATER
AND SOIL RESOURCES FOR REMOVAL OF AREA TRIBUTARY TO WOOD
LAKE FROM MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT AND NINE
MILE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT AND ATTACHING AREA TO
RICHFIELD BLOOMINGTON WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION.

City Manager Prosser reviewed Council Letter No. 270
recommending approval of a petition to the Minnesota Board of Water
and Soil Resources for removal of an area tributary to Wood Lake
from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and the Nine Mile Creek
Watershed District and placement of the area into the jurisdiction
of the Richfield Bloomington Water Management Organization.
M/Sandahl, S/Stokes to approve the submittal of the petition
to the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources reguestina the
boundary change for removal of an area tributary to Wood Lake
District and the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District and placement
of the area under the jurisdiction of the Richfield Bloomington
Water Management Organization as identified in Exhibit Al of
Council Letter No. 270.
Motion carried 4-0.
