The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hamilton at 5:28 p.m.
Item ~1 OVERVIEW OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD'S 1985 COMPREHENSIVE
FINANCIAL REPORT. C.L. 253.
John Li1ja, Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, reviewed the City of
Richfield Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal
year ended December 31, 1985.
Item #2 MAY.30, 1986, MANAGEMENT LETTER IN CONNECTION WITH
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985. C.L. 272.
Clifford Hoffman, Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, reviewed the
May 30, 1986 Management Letter containing observations and
recommendations regarding internal control and procedures.
Mayor Hamilton inquired about the follow up for the
recommendations contained in the Management Letter.
Acting City Manager Devich reviewed Council Letter No. 272
regarding the city administrations response to the
recommendations.
Council Member Sandahl questioned the recommendation that
Department Heads sign an annual confirmation that they have read
the city's formal code of ethics policy.
John Lilja, Deloitte, Haskins.& Sells, stated that he felt
an annual reminder would be beneficial to the city.
