06-02-1986 Board of ReviewCITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING June 2, 1986 MEMBERS PRESENT: John Hamilton, Mayor; Ivan Ludeman; Michael Sandahl; Martin Kirsch; Edwina Garcia; Lawrence Emond; and John Janski. STAFF PRESENT: Steven Devich, Acting City Manager; Thomas P. Ferber, City Clerk; Larry Miller, Hennepin County Principal Appraiser; Steve Ide, Appraiser; and Annabelle Thomas, Assessment Clerk. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hamilton at 7:16 p.m. Item ~1 APPEAL BY FIRST WESTERN BANK, 6500 NICOLLET AVENUE. P.I.D. 27-028-24-24-0060. Larry Miller, Hennepin County Principal Appraiser, stated that First Western Bank had indicated by letter their intent to appeal the Estimated Market Value of their property located at 6500 Nicollet Avenue but not to appear before the Richfield Board of Review. Mr. Miller recommended that the Board sustain the assessor's determination of the Estimated Market Value of this property. M/Kirsch, S/Sandahl to sustain the assessor's determination of $1 162 500 as the Estimated Market Value of the ro ert located at 6500 Nicollet Avenue P.I.D. 27-028-24-24-0060 . Motion carried 7-0. Item #2 APPEAL BY SAGE CORPORATION OF VARIOUS PROPERTIES. Larry Miller, Hennepin County Principal Appraiser, stated that the Sage Corporation had indicated by letter their intent to appeal the Estimated Market Value of properties located at 1001 East 77th Street, 901 East 77th Street; 7720-30-40 4th Avenue; 701-711-717-729-735 East 77th Street; 710-716-728-734 East 78th Street; and 620-638 East 78th Street but not to appear before the Richfield Board of Review. Mr. Miller recommended that the Board sustain the assessor's determination of the Estimated Market Value of these properties. P.I.D. 33-028-24-14-0001. Larry Miller, Hennepin County Principal Appraiser, stated that Gerald Marquardt had delivered a letter today indicating his intent to appeal the Estimated Market Value of the property located at 7300 Lyndale Avenue but that he would be unable to appear before the Richfield Board of Review. Mr. Miller stated that the property had been recently reviewed resulting in an Estimated Market Value of $128,200. Board discussion followed regarding the comparable properties presented by Mr. Miller and the condition and location factors which affect the value of the subject property. M/Sandahl, S/Ludeman to reduce the Estimated Market Value of the ro ert located at 7300 L ndale Avenue P.I.D. 33-028-24-14- 0001 from $128,200 to 124,200. Motion carried 7-0. 1 1 Board of Review Minutes -3- June 2, 1986 Item ~4 APPEAL BY WILLIAM RENNEKE, 7533 SHERIDAN AVENUE. P.I.D. 32-028-24-41-0050. .Dr. William Renneke, 7533 Sheridan Avenue, reviewed various appraisal statements and depreciation figures in support of his request appealing the Estimated Market Value of $96,600 for the property located at 7533 Sheridan Avenue. Due to the sudden illness of Dr. Renneke at this time, it was the consensus of the Board to adjourn the meeting and to reconvene, by call of the Chair, at a future date to consider the pending appeals of 7633 Sheridan Avenue and 7235 Bloomington Avenue. The Board directed that those with pending appeals be notified of the date the Board will reconvene. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned a Date Approved : 6/23/86 Thomas P.
