JOINT CITY COUNCIL MEETING/ADVISORY BOARD OF HEALTH
JUNE 10, 1985
MEMBERS PRESENT: John Hamilton, Mayor; Howard Bunce,
• Ivan Ludeman, Donald Priebe, and,
Michael Sandahl. '
STAFF PRESENT: John Cartwright, City Manager;
Steve Devich, Administrative
Services Director; and, Tom Morgan,
Public Safety Director.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Lia Ozols, Chairperson; Carol
Olson, Anne Kinley, Jeanette
Lofstrom, Joan Pelfry, Jane Myre,
and, Martin Kirsch. Mary Brekke
arrived at 6:05 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hamilton at b:00 p.m.

Lia Ozols, chairperson, reviewed the 198+ annual report
highlights of the Richfield Advisory Board of Health.
Joan Pelfry reported on the various health promotions in
which the Board of Health participated in the past year.
Martin Kirsch reported on environmental issues affecting
Richfield which were addressed by the Board of Health during
198 .
Jeanette Lofstrom reported on the Social Services objectives
of the Richfield Advisory Board of Health for 198.
Council Members suggested that the Advisory Board of Health
contact the school district to utilize the school's census
data. This census data could then be used to identify elderly
residents who may benefit From assistance from volunteers.
Council Members commended the Richfield Advisory Board of
Health for their many activities in 1984 serving Richfield..
