STAFF PRESENT: John Cartwright, City Manager; Tom Ferber,. City Clerk; Steve Devieh, Administrative Services Director; Dennis Kraft, Community Development Director; Larry Miller, Hennepin County Appraiser; and, Terry Hall, Acting City Attorney. The meeting of the Richfield Board of Review was called to order by Mayor Hamilton at 7:17 p.m. ' City Manager Cartwright explained that the purpose of the meeting was to consider two appeals that had been continued from the June 3, 1985 Board of Review meeting. Item ~~1 BOARD R V ON IDERATIO 0 A APPEAL BY BO BLUMBERG, ZIMMERMAN REALTY, 300 W. 65TH STREET PID 27-028-24-23-0007. C.L. 217. City Manager Cartwright reviewed Council Letter No. 217 recommending that the Board of Review sustain the Estimated Market Value of.$262,500 as originally appraised for the property located at 300 West 65th Street. The City Manager stated that Bob Blumberg had contacted the city and indicated he wanted his appeal to be made a part of the record, but he did not wish to appear. City Manager Cartwright reviewed Council Letter No. 218 regarding the determination of the Estimated Market Value for 6817 Lyndale Avenue South. Cartwright stated that Larry Miller had reviewed the property on June 4, 1985• Mr. Millers review indicated a new Estimated Market Value of $g6 ,900 (reduced from $99,800). Mr. Geerdes met with Mr. Miller and indicated that the Estimated Market Value of $96,900 was acceptable to him. Therefore, he did not wish to contest that value nor appear before the Board.
