DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR MARKET PLAZA PROJECT. C.L. 101
City Manager Cartwright reviewed Council Letter ~~101
concerning a possible amendment to the Planned Unit Development
Plan for the Market Plaza Project. The need for an amendment
relates to the placement of equipment in required yards for
heating and ventilation of the garage space.
City Building Inspector Sivert Hendrickson reported on four
proposals presented to the City by the developer relating to
heating and ventilation of the garage facilities in the Market
Plaza project.
Dick Krier, Derrick Companies, commented on each of the four
proposals submitted to the City. Mr. Krier offered a fifth
proposal which would permit the equipment to be installed within
the garage, but would use one or two parking spaces. City
Council consensus was to install the heating and ventilation
equipment inside- the garage and lose one or two parking spaces.
