Herbst, Attorney, for Southwest Cable
Commission (SWCC)
City Manager John Cartwright reviewed the issues concerning
_a proposal for a modified agreement to the franchise ordinance
for Rogers Cablesystems.
Dottie Rietow, Government Liaison person for Rogers
Cablesystems, explained the cost cutting measures undertaken by
Rogers to help alleviate the financial problem they are .facing.
Rogers Cablesystems has now attained a 45% market penetration.
Wayne Popham, Attorney for Rogers Cablesystems, explained the
November, 1984 rate increases and the reasons for the increase.
James Crawford, Operations Manager for Rogers Cablesystems,
reported on the marketing efforts and the new billing system
Rogers is implementing.
Adrian Herbst, Attorney for SWCC, reviewed the proposed
modification agreement between Rogers Cablesy t s and SWCC.
