CONTINU D R' IE OF TH PROPOSED 19.5 D REVISED 19 4 BUDGET. City Manager Jahn Cartwright reviewed the Community Services Department Budget, recommending that the Westside Pool and spring cleanup programs be eliminated. Council Member Ludeman arrived at 7:13 p.m. during the course of the City Managers review of the Community Services budget. Adjustments to the 1985 budget were mode. The Council unanimously agreed to reinstate $2,810 far the Westside Pool program, increase the 4th of July Committee contribution from $8,000 to $10,000, and strongly recommended that the Community Services Director have flexibility to add additional dollars for overtime expenditures for sidewalk snowplowing. The City Manager reviewed the Central Garage Fund and discussion followed regarding the replacement of various vehicles. City Manager Jahn Cartwright reviewed the Liquor Fund. It was noted that sales far the year are on target and that profits for 1984 are expected to remain above the $500,000 level. A capital expenditure for energy efficiency at the Lyndale Store was moved from 1985 to 1984. There was also discussion regarding the advertisement budget and building depreciation of all enterprise funds. The City Manager reviewed the Sewer Maintenance Fund, explaining that a new minimum quarterly sewer charge had been established and rates would be increased by 5~.
