SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
May 23, 1983
The city council of the City of Richfield met in special session in the
council chambers of the city hall on Monday, May 23, 1983, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor John Hamilton.
Present: Bunce, Kirsch, Ludeman, Priebe, Hamilton
Absent: Hassenstab
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the recruitment process to be
used in selecting a city manager. Council members present expressed their
various viewpoints as to the best method of pursuing this selection. Council
members felt a final decision should be made when all council members were
present, and the discussion was continued to a special study session scheduled
for Wednesday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m.
The Department of Public Safety made a presentation relating to building
and fire codes and their applicability to propert~~withi~ City of Richfield.
