CITY OF RICHFIELD
SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING '
March 21, 1983
The city council of the City of Richfield met in special session in the
conference room of the city hall on Monday, March 21, 1983 at 5:30 p.m.
Mayor Hamilton called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Present: Bunce, Hamilton, Hassenstab, Kirsch, Ludeman, Priebe
1. A pointment of the Director of Administrative Services/Assistant City__Mana er
City Manager Nollenberger introduced Ronald Rankin to the members of the council.
Mr. Nollenberger advised that he was seeking city council approval of Mr. Rankin's
appointment as the Director of Administrative Services/Assistant City Manager for
the City of Richfield.
Motion by Kirsch, seconded by Hassenstab to approve the city manager's appointment

of Ronald Rankin as Director of Administrative Services/Assistant City Manager for the
City of Richfield, effective April 18, 1983.
A11 ayes - Carried.
2. Raffle License, Richfield Jaycee Pancake Breakfast
Motion by Bunce, seconded by Hassenstab that a fee waived raffle license for
March 27, 1983 for the Richfield Jaycee's Pancake Breakfast be approved for the
hours of 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. --
All ayes - Carried.

the Richfield City Council and the Richfield Civil Service
At 6:30 p.m. the city council met in an informal. joint session with the three
members of the Richfield Civil Service Comtaission to discuss matters of mutual interest.
The three members of the civil service commission, Jack Duich, George Karnas and
Dominic Zappia were in attendance, as well as Public Safety Director, Thomas Morgan, 3r.
