SPECIAL MEETING - BUDGET HEARING
September 27, 1982
The City Council of the City of Richfield met in special session on September 27,
1982 at 5:30 p.m. to review the proposed 1983 budget and the revised 1982 budget.
Present: Bunce, Hassenstab, Kirsch, Ludeman, Hamilton
Mayor Hamilton called the meeting to order at ~:45 p.m.
City Manager Karl Nollenberger stated that the purpose of the meeting was to
review Liquor, Internal Service and the Capital Improvement budgets.
Liquor Director Bill Fillmore described the liquor operations and presented
data regarding sales, personal service, inventory and profit for the first nine
months of 1982, compared with the same period of 1981. Councilmembers asked
questions and discussed this information with respect to the liquor operation
goals established for the year.
Administrative Services Director Joyce Wilde described the bonded debt fund
and presented a summary cash flow project for the L/H/N project area.
City Manager Nollenberger presented the proposed 1983 Capital Improvement budget.
He also summarized the Internal Service funds of Central Garage, Data Processing,
Printing/Central Supply and Self-Insurance.
The meeting adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
