SPECIAL MEETING - BUDGET HEARING
August 31 , 1 982
The city council of the City of Richf field met in special session
in the conference room of the city hall on Tuesday, August 31, 1982
at 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Hamilton called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m.
Present: Bence, Hassenstab, Kirsch, Ludeman, Hamilton
City Manager Karl Nollenberger described-the budget for the
Legislative/Executive Departments, and answered council members questions.
City Manager Nollenberger presented information describing the
city's projected assessed value for 1983 and anticipated "fiscal _
disparities" contribution.
Administrative Services Director Joyce Wilde summarized the
assumptions used in projected 1982 revised and 1983 proposed General
Fund revenues, and stated that the entire revenue projection reflected ~
the council's policy toim.ke programs more self-supporting, and to
annually adjust various fees and charges to keep pace with increases
in the city's costs.
Administrative Services Director Wilde described anticipated
sewer and water fund revenues and Community Services Director Donald
Fondrick described projected expenditures for those funds.
