SPECIAL N.EETING - BUDGET I~~ARING
August 30, 1982
The city council of the City of Richf field met in special
session in the council chambers of the city hall on Monday,
August 30, 1982 at 5:30 p.m.
Mayor Hamilton called the meeting tq order at 5:30 p.m.

Present: Bunce, Hassenstab, Kirsch, Ludeman, Hamilton
Community Services Director Donald Fondrick described the major -
programs and operating goals of that department, on a division-by-
division basis. He also described the revenues projected to be
generated by the department's activities during 1983. Council members
asked questions and indicated support for the revenue and charging
policies used in establishing the projected income for department
activities.
Administrative Services Director Joyce Wilde similarly described
the programs and proposed budget of that department, for the rest of
1982 and for 1983.
City Manager Karl Nollenberger presented a request of the South
Hennepin Human Services Council for 1983 funding in the amount of
$3,185. Russ Stricker, South Hennepin Human Services Council Exec-
utive Director, presented background information re the agency's re®
quest.
Motion by Hassenstab, seconded by Bunce to approve requested
funding of $3,185 for SHHSC in 1983.
All ayes - Carried.
