SPECIAL MEETING - BUDGET HEARING
October 26, 1981
The City Council of the City of Richfield met in special session on October 12,
1981 at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers of the city hall.
Mayor Donald Priebe called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m.
Present; Bunce, Collins, Hassenstab, Ludeman, Priebe
City Manager Karl Nollenberger presented the revised 1981 and proposed 1982
sewer utility budget. His summary included a five year projection of revenues,
expenses and capital improvements, as well as a cash flow summary for the same period.
Mr. Nollenberger and Community Services Director Don Fondrick answered questions of
the city council.
Motion by Hassenstab, seconded by Collins to adopt the 1981 revised and 1982
sewer utility budget; and recommend that the city take a look at adding an additional
surcharge to fund capital improvements.
A11 ayes - Carried.
City Manager Nollenberger presented the revised 1981 and proposed 1982 water
utility budget and explained the anticipated five year capital replacements program.
The city manager and Mr. Fondrick answered questions of the city council.
Motion by Ludeman, seconded by Hassenstab to adopt the 1981 revised and 1982
water utility budget.
A11 ayes - Carried.
The meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
