JOINT CITY COUNCIL/PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
August 17, 1981
The City Council and the Planning Commission of the City of Richfield met in
joint session in the council chambers of the city hall on Monday, August 17, 1981
at 5:00 p.m.
Acting City Clerk Joyce Wilde called the roll.
Present: Council members Collins, Hassenstab, Ludeman, Priebe
Absent: Bunce
Present; Planning Commission iriembers Ahlquist, Anderson, Blevins, Hoverson,
Kamprud, Ketcham, McDermott-Linstrand, Russell
Absent: Ertman
Mayor Priebe called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m.
Commissioner Mark Ahlquist served as the Planning Commission spokesman regarding
the proposed zoning ordinance change. Mr. Ahlquist summarized major changes between
provisions of the new ordinance and existing ordinance changes.
Council members and Planning Commission members discussed these changes and the
general philosophy of zoning and land use administration that might be affected by
these changes.
City Attorney Clayton LeFevere described alternative means for implementing
the ordinance.
The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
