CITY OF RICHFIELD
Special Meeting-
April 20, 1981::
The City Council of~the City of Richfield met in special session in the conference
room of the city hall on Monday, April 20, 1981 at 5:30 p.m._
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Donald J. Priebe.
Present: Bunce, Collins, Hassenstab, Ludeman, Priebe
Also present at this meeting wire City Manager Karl Nollenberger and Organizational

Development Consultant, Lyle Sumek.
1. The Objectives for the City of Richfield
The purpose of the special session of the city council was to review and
discuss objectives for the City of Richfield for the two-year period July 1, 19$1
through June 30, 1983. These objectives were prioritized by the city council, and
will become the basis for a joint city council/city staff meeting scheduled for
May, 1981.
2. Recommendation to State of Minnesota of Bid Award for Street Improvements
for Lyndale Avenue 64th Street to Lake Shore Drive
No action was taken on this item.
The council recessed at 7:3.0 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m. reconvened for continuation
of the meeting.

3. Public Safety Facilities Expansion Program
" The city council reviewed plans for the public safety facilities' proposed
expansion program. The city council agreed to go ahead with the plans and speci-
fications and requested that a report be made to the city council before :~
