Special Meeting with Senior Citizens/Handicapped
Commission
September 15, 1980
The City Council of the City'of Richf field met in special
session in the Council Chambers of the Gity Hall on Monday,
September 15, 1980 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting ~,ras called to order by Mayor Donald Priebe at
6:30 p.m.
Present: Bunce, Collins, Ludeman, Priebe
(Council Member Luettinger arrived late}
Also present were-the City Manager, Karl Nollenberger,
city staff members, and members of the Senior Citizens/Handi-
capped Commission.
The purpose of the joint meeting was to give the-city
council an opportunity tb review programs-and activities of the
commission, and to give commission members the opportunity to
to address the council members regarding their proposed goals
and objectives for the coming year.
The meeting covered items such as transportation needs of
senior and handicapped citizens, housing, and .the problems of
educating the public to make them aware of the:_problems facing
senior citizens and handicapped persons.
