Special Meeting
July 1 , 1 980
The C ity Council of the C ity of Richfield met in special
session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on Tuesday, July
1, 1980, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Donald J. Priebe
at 5:30 p.m.
Present: Bunce, Collins, Ludeman, Luettinger, Priebe

Karl Nollenberger, City Manager, advised members of the city
council that the city staff had held preliminary discussions with
the Knutson Company involving a proposal for the construction of
a multi-family housing development for persons aged 62 years or
older. This proposed development would be located at approximately
66th Street and Graham Avenue in the L/H/N Redevelopment Area.
Mr. Nollenberger further advised the council that the Knutson
Company was desirous of using Housing Mortgage Revenue Bonds to
finance this proposed project.
The city manager recommended that the city council adopt the
appropriate resolution giving preliminary approval to the proposed
multi-family housing development mortgage finance program.
Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Ludeman that the following
resolution be adopted, that it be spread in the resolution book
and that it be made a part of these minutes:

Poll of votes: Ayes - Collins, Luettinger, Bunce, Ludeman, Priebe.
Nays - None. Carried.. -This resolution appears as Resolution No.
6255 in Resolution Book No. 45..
2. Grand O eninq Date for Rich Acres Golf Course
The members of the city council discussed setting a date for
the grand opening of the Rich Acres Golf Course. The date of
July 24, 1980 was selected as the most desirous, with the second
choice for the grand opening being July 29, 1980.
3. Adjournment
Motion by Bunce, seconded by Ludeman that the meeting adjourn.
