CITY OF RICHFIELD
Special Meeting
March 8, 1.980
The City Council of the City of Richfield met in special
session in the conference room of the city hall on Saturday,
N~arch 8, 1980 at 11:30 a.in.
The meeting was called to order~by Mayor Donald J. Priebe.
Present: Bunce, Collins, Ludeman, Luettinger, Priebe
Also in attendance were the three area legislators, Repre-
sentative Shirley Hokanson, Representative JamEs Swanson, and
Senator William Kirchner, and department heads Joyce Wilde, Thomas
Morgan, Dona:~:d Fondrick and Dennis Kraft, and the. city manager,
Karl Nollenberger. '
:1. Legislative Issues
The legislators were provided with copies of several legis-
lative position statements regarding legislation affecting the
City of Richfield.
Legislators and council members discussed police and fire
pensions, municipal bond interest rate limitations, government
data privacy and data pra.cti~es, Prosecution of misdemeanor
,offenses, 911 emergency telephone system installation costs, and
the pending legislation regarding airport noise legislation.
No actions were taken by the city council and the meeting
informally adjourned at :9:00 p.m.
