SPECIAL MEETING - BUDGET HEARING
September 15, 1975
Pursuant to the provisions of the City Charter of Richfield, the City Council
held a special session on Monday, September 15, 1975 at 7:00 PM, in the Council
Chambers of the City Ha11, 6700 Portland Avenue to discuss the 1976 proposed budget.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Law.
Present; Anderson, Jacobsen, Ludeman, Luettinger, Law
Absent; None
City Manager, Wayne Burggraaff, presented an overview of the proposed budget
document.
Lawrence Wozniczka, 6744 Wentworth, asked questions.
General discussion followed. The City Council then reviewed budget activities
included in the Mayor-Council, executive and finance departments.
Not on Agenda) Reconsideration of Confirmation of Manager's Appointment of
Park and Recreation Director.
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Anderson, to reconsider confirmation of the
City Manager's appointment of a new park and recreation director.
General discussion on the motion followed.
Poll of votes: Ayes - Anderson, Jacobsen. Nayes - Ludeman, Luettinger, I,aw.
Motion failed.
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Luettinger, that the budget hearing be con-
tinued to Tuesday, September 16, 1975 at 7:00 PM. Time - 10:45 PM.
