joint special session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 6700 P®rtland

The meeting was called to~®rder by Mayor Law,
Wayne Burggraaff9 city manager9 presented the 197 31978 Capital Tmpr®vements
Program for the city, Mr. Burggraaff also included a presentation outlining the
responsibilities of the city c®uncil9 the planning commission, and staff in accordm
ante with the regulations established by state law and the City Charter in conjunction
with reviewing and developing a capital improvement budget and program.
the members of the city council9 planning co~nission9 and city staff then en=
gaged in a.discussion of the proposed projects such as storm sewer improvements9 street
improvements, traffic coa~trol improvements, municipal pr®perty improvements and park
improvements. No decisions were made at this meeting, However, the city. manager
reminded everyone that the council hearing.on the proposed program was scheduled for
February 12, 1973,
